2+ years of SBA or commercial lending experience Bachelor's degree required Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Familiarity with SBA loan programs and eligibility criteria Strong interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach Description
Partner with Relationship Managers to assess borrower credit quality and SBA program eligibility Accompany Relationship Managers on prospect calls (phone and in-person) Provide training and support on SBA lending to internal teams Collect and review documentation required for SBA loan processing Act as a subject matter expert on SBA regulations, credit guidelines, and secondary market expectations Maintain a strong market presence to develop direct SBA loan opportunities Contribute to a productive and communicative department environment Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and institutional lending regulations
