Summary

The Manager, Learning and Development (L&D) is responsible for assisting our team members advance their skills and knowledge. In addition, the Manager, Learning & Development, will assess company-wide developmental needs to drive HR compliance training initiatives, while identifying and arranging suitable training solutions for employees. You will actively search, creatively design, and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. The Manager, Learning & Development, reports to the Sr. Manager, L&D and supports RDG University (RDGU). This individual will work internally with teams across RDG to build, curate, and support IT & HR compliance learning content and experiences, explore new learning methods and build both live and moderated learning solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES

In partnership with our Sr.Manager, Learning & Development, you will develop and lead Learning & Development initiatives that align with business goals, talent strategies, and meet all compliance requirements. Responsible for the oversight and license compliance for RDG University (RDGU). Serve as a Learning & Development ambassador to advocate for the value and continued growth of learning initiatives within RDG. In collaboration with the Chief People Officer, develop content for a leading Leadership Training module. Facilitate management new hire orientation in the corporate office or venues by reviewing all initial compliance, leadership and RDG culture content. Responsible for designing the systems, processes, and capabilities within the group to drive talent management and leadership development, in support of our long‑term strategy & growth plans. Work to ensure that all learning programs are equitably available to a diverse team of employees and embed Diversity, Equity and Belonging in each learning program. Drive engagement and development at all levels of the organization and foster an environment of continuous learning to encourage career growth and succession readiness. Lead and manage the design, development and delivery of technical and soft skill learning programs and services by creating a “Hospitality University” educational program where one learns the skills to perform in their role. This will consist of compliance, service, culture and skills‑based training. Conduct comprehensive needs analyses on a continuous basis, recognize emerging patterns, and provide recommendations to address gaps and/or potential opportunities. Partner closely with the HR Managers and on‑site venue management team to monitor the pulse of organizational needs and learning opportunities across RDG and diverse functions to align with Performance Management and career growth. Responsible for the tracking and attendance of training programs which will require collaboration with venue management. Measure and articulate Learning & Development effectiveness and impact based on strategic alignment, overall organizational health, and key performance indicators, including engagement data. Research and implement best practices in instructional technology, tools, and approaches. Assist with orientation facilitation, performance management preparation and service training when necessary. Collaborate cross‑functionally to define appropriate scope and focus for Learning & Development initiatives with key partners and stakeholders, including but not limited to: HR Team, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Business Leaders across the firm. Requirements/Qualifications

Briefly describe the educational background, licenses, certifications, job‑related experience, knowledge, skills, or abilities necessary to perform the job and preferred relevant experience. Minimum 8 years of experience leading a corporate learning program, preferably in a high‑growth environment such as hospitality/restaurant industry with many hourly and salaried employees, with deep experience in developing and driving learning strategies. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential. Working knowledge of a Learning Management System (LMS). Proficiency working with a variety of multimedia training platforms and driving strategy behind instructional design, including creating engaging and interactive learning curriculums using industry standards such as ADDIE and needs analysis. Ability to create captivating training materials, slide decks and workbook training materials with ease. Excellent team facilitation and presentation skills (platform skills). Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred. Seasoned user of Microsoft office inclusive of Power Point, Excel, and Word. Demonstrated success in fostering a learning culture that promotes engagement, retention, and career growth. Strong ability to assess training effectiveness using data‑drive metrics, feedback tools, and ROI analysis. Experience leveraging learning tools, innovative digital tools, microlearning, and gamification to enhance learner engagement. Deep understanding of front‑and‑back of house operations, brand standards, and luxury training. Other Skills And Knowledge

Superior verbal and written communication skills. Ability to represent the firm and business with professionalism, poise and model the BPM values. Proven time management, organizational, and follow‑up skills, with a high comfort level initiating and responding to high volume of phone calls and emails. Adept at working in a fast‑paced, deadline-driven environment with a task-driven focus. Accustomed to serving as a Change Agent - highly adaptable, dependable with an entrepreneurial spirit. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to successfully troubleshoot and resolve unexpected roadblocks, barriers, and inquiries from internal and external clients. Excellent relationship building capabilities with a keen ability to drive engagement. Ability to work weekends if there is a business necessity or venue opening requirement. General office assignments-(typing), which lends itself to repetitive motion. Sitting in a stationary position or standing in a classroom setting for several hours within the day.
