If you’re an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney with Real Estate Litigation experience and a strong track record of favorable client outcomes who thrives when surrounded by top‑notch legal professionals, look no further! Our dynamic firm is growing and we are seeking a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in real estate litigation, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and excellent references. The ideal candidate will be able to produce an excellent work product that reflects strong research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs. You will independently manage litigation caseloads, working on cases from beginning to end, including court appearances, depositions, and client communication. Admission to practice in California is required. We favor candidates with transferable skills, client‑relationship and interpersonal strengths, prior experience in land use, title insurance, and business law; unlawful detainer experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Understand all legal aspects of the clients’ desired outcome and circumstances to provide sound legal advice.
Appear on behalf of clients at real estate closings, disputes, and litigation.
Manage paralegals, clerks, and other assistants.
Lead real estate litigation matters from inception through trial.
Handle commercial and residential property disputes.
Navigate landlord‑tenant conflicts, property rights issues, title disputes, and real estate fraud cases.
Guide clients through zoning and land use litigation.
Manage and respond to written discovery.
Practice motions and conduct legal research.
Investigate key facts and gather critical case information.
File, depose, mediate, and litigate with minimal oversight, following core values and culture.
Represent clients in real estate disputes, litigation, and business disputes.
Take into account all legal aspects of the clients’ intended outcome and personal circumstances to provide sound legal advice.
Qualifications
Exceptional negotiation, research, networking, and communication skills.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a civil litigation attorney handling depositions, mediations, and court/jury trials in accordance with California civil procedure.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of property management, business law, title insurance, land use, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Prior real‑estate litigation experience required.
Active California Bar License in good standing is required.
Juris Doctor required.
Strong passion for litigation and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Unlawful detainer experience is highly valuable.
