Base pay range $35.00/hr - $45.00/hr
Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our dynamic team in Red Bud, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet our customers' specifications. Responsibilities
Program CNC machines using G-code and other programming languages to create parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
Reading & interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Choosing & loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product designs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with MasterCam v19 or later software and CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
