100% Remote (US Only)

Compensation:

$125,000-$140,000

The

Sr. Salesforce Architect / Developer

will have advanced technical expertise, development and code review skills, and a deep understanding of enterprise architecture. This role will excel at designing scalable Salesforce architecture, hands‑on development and have a strategic vision for integrating Salesforce solutions into the broader organizational framework. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts, developers, project managers, and program managers to ensure effective architecture solutions and drive innovation within the organization. The role is responsible for mentoring, promoting architectural principles, and leading initiatives that align Salesforce solutions with corporate business objectives.

What you will do:

Designs and collaborates with internal and partners experts in the Salesforce architecture roadmap through its lifecycle, aligning it with strategic corporate business objectives and the overall enterprise architecture

Proactively collaborates with business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure the architecture aligns with business requirements

Creates and maintains comprehensive architectural documentation and artifacts

Develops custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other programming languages and frameworks

Designs and optimizes data models, sharing rules, and security models to ensure data integrity and compliance

Serves as a trusted technical advisor to the application development team

Conducts design reviews and maintains high standards for uniformity and quality

Identifies and resolves issues within the platform and its integrations

Enhances the platform’s scalability, stability, accuracy, speed, and efficiency

Implements and oversees data security and protection measures

Participates actively in Agile SDLC meetings, including standups, planning, estimation, retrospectives, and demos

Ensures seamless data flow and interoperability between Salesforce and other enterprise systems

Establishes and enforces coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes for Salesforce development

Conducts code reviews, unit tests, and integration tests to validate functionality, performance, and security of Salesforce solutions

Identifies and remediates technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and scalability issues

Drives innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem, leveraging new Salesforce features and technologies

Communicates complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives effectively

Evaluates new Salesforce features, technologies, and tools to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Leads the integration of Salesforce with external systems and applications, leveraging APIs, middleware, and data integration tools

Works with other team members to design and implement data migration, transformation, and synchronization strategies to support data consolidation and migration projects

Provides technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in Salesforce development best practices and methodologies

Acts as a subject matter expert on Salesforce development and architecture, sharing insights and expertise with the broader organization

What you will bring:

A deep understanding of architectural patterns, multi-org strategies, and best practices is essential for designing scalable and effective solutions

Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with other systems and advanced custom development skills, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and how CRM systems like Salesforce fit into the bigger picture of organizational infrastructure and strategy

Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to Salesforce development (e.g., Apex, Java, JavaScript)

Thorough understanding of SaaS data models, design considerations and connected web services

Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud (CTI, Chatbot, Chat, Knowledge Management, Omnichannel etc.)

Good understanding of Salesforce DX, source‑driven development using Git/Github or similar version control system, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as part of DevOps process

Proven leadership skills, including the ability to mentor teams, resolve conflicts, negotiate effectively, and foster a collaborative work environment

Strong soft skills in communication and stakeholder management to ensure alignment with organizational goals

Experience integrating business applications using platforms like Mulesoft, Boomi, etc. and APIs is desired

Strong understanding of integration patterns, web services, and API‑based integrations

Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer (I and II) and Salesforce Domain Architect certifications preferred

Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills

Proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams in a collaborative environment

Strong expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

8+ years of experience as Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Integration Lead for implementations including SFDC and at least four integration endpoints

Extensive experience as a Solution Architect with Salesforce, including expertise in multiple clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Einstein Analytics, Communications Cloud) and advanced technical skills

Extensive experience (8+ years) in Salesforce development, with a focus on complex, enterprise‑scale solutions

In‑depth knowledge (5 + years) of Salesforce platform architecture, configuration, and customization options
