Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the end-to-end architectural design for large-scale Salesforce projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Implement Salesforce Applications and develop new objects, Lightning components, process flows, dashboards, and other Salesforce OOTB features. Knowledge of best practices for implementing role-based security using permission sets and other Salesforce features. Design and document comprehensive solution architectures, including system landscape diagrams, data models, integration patterns, and security frameworks. Evaluate business requirements and determine the most effective use of the Salesforce platform, including declarative configuration and custom development. Make key architectural decisions and provide technical governance across all Salesforce projects. Technical Leadership & Governance: Serve as the trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert for the Salesforce platform. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and consultants. Establish and enforce best practices for development, code reviews, release management, and data governance. Design development for existing and new Salesforce applications, including knowledge of Aura, Apex, Lighting, Visualforce components. Conduct technical assessments and lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to define project scope and technical requirements. Integration & Data Management: Design and oversee complex integrations between Salesforce and other internal and external systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation, e-commerce). Define data migration strategies and ensure data integrity and quality. Utilize and recommend appropriate integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Salesforce APIs, and other middleware). Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. Translate complex technical concepts into clear language for diverse audiences, from developers to executives. Present solution designs, roadmaps, and project updates to key stakeholders. Strategic Planning & Optimization: Contribute to the long-term Salesforce strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities for platform optimization and digital transformation. Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices. Proactively identify and address potential performance and security concerns. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years in a lead role designing and implementing Salesforce solutions. Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform. Strong proficiency in Salesforce development technologies with hands-on experience in both Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura UI components. Deep expertise in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL. Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data models, and sharing mechanisms. Proven experience with systems integration, ETL tools, and API design. Experience with development lifecycle and deployment methodologies (CI/CD, DevOps). Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or Certified System Architect credentials are a plus. US citizen and/or green card holder and eligibility to obtain public trust clearance. Prior FDA experience is a plus. Desired Qualifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or a path to it; experience with Salesforce clouds (Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Health Cloud, Financial Services Cloud); Agile development experience; familiarity with other programming languages and enterprise architecture frameworks.
