Senior Field Applications Specialist

(FAS) is responsible for the validation of new instrument installations to ensure they meet Beckman Coulter and customer-stated requirements. The FAS works closely with cross-functional teams including Tech Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training, and supports customers remotely and onsite within the territory. In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate within a Field Applications team, supporting the Richmond, VA and East Coast territory. Responsibilities

Ensure the customer is prepared for validation and milestones for the established implementation timeline; assess operator performance and knowledge. Provide onsite and remote support for assay and QC questions and provide onsite training for proper operation of instrumentation. Complete validation studies on instrumentation including instrument setup, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons. Drive revenue growth by identifying assay growth opportunities while working with customers. Qualifications

Associate's degree with a minimum of 3+ years in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or related field Advanced knowledge of Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with emphasis on Laboratory Regulatory environment Travel, Vehicle, and Physical/Environment Requirements

Willing to work remotely and travel domestically up to 90% within the Northeast territory, including overnight stays Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lb; other physical requirements as needed Preferred Additional Experience

Medical technology experience Knowledge of Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA) Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $38.46 - $43.26. This range is in good faith and may be modified in the future. The role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision, and 401(k) for eligible employees. Residency within Richmond, VA or ability to relocate is required.
