Sr. Advanced Application Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. (Houston, TX)
Deliver remote support and services remotely and effectively.
Execute GTAC (Global Technical Assistance Center) and other standard audit checklists for Experion system.
Facilitate issue identification and analysis.
Report to regional stakeholders, work closely with the global team.
Proactively manage and respond to customer questions and issues.
Maintain strong case documentation and follow up with Assurance 360 Performance Managers to ensure that technical recommendations effectively resolve customer issues.
Support A360 Performance Managers to enable remote solutions at customer sites, ensuring that PSC value is consistently demonstrated with each deliverable.
Enable services installation and migration.
Perform system maintenance and reporting incident avoidance cases.
Generate knowledge articles.
Monitor enabled services alerts.
Collect data for Experion audits.
Conduct audits.
Troubleshoot and fix issues.
Review audit reports with performance managers and customers.
Maintain the RAIL for action items.
Update the asset lifecycle management.
Deliver priority notifications to customers and performance managers.
Work with Distributed Control System (DCS) on the Experion PKS control system.
Preventive maintenance to ensure system availability and reduce unplanned shutdowns via audits and strong technical support.
Support control system engineering, reliability engineering, or automation engineering by designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems like Experion PKS.
Use system diagnostics, asset performance tools, and predictive analytics to support DCS longevity.
Troubleshoot automation faults, optimize control logic, and support uptime.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Instrumentation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field, with 6 years of experience in distributed control system architecture including controllers, HMIs, and field devices.
6 years of experience with PLC and SCADA control logics, loop tuning; understanding of networking concepts such as TCP, firewalls, remote access, and VLANs; ability to troubleshoot, analyze system logs, diagnose faults, resolve software or hardware issues; Windows domain controller skills such as configuring domain policies and rules; installation and upgrade of software on live systems; Experion PKS knowledge; use of diagnostic capture tool, control builder, configuration studio, enabled services; C300 controllers; field interface modules; controller I/Os; PGM (Profibus Gateway Module); and other field experience.
