Ideal Candidate
A minimum of 1 year experience in a cook or pantry cook position
Previous experience as prep cook
Banquet and hotel experience a plus
Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
Schedule: typically starting around 6am, with the ability to work other shifts as business needs
Pay Rate: $26.75 - $33.44

Job Responsibilities The Assistant Pantry Cook prepares salads, fruits, dressings, cold meats, fish items, canapés, cold hors d’oeuvres, appetizers and other cold dishes according to Company’s high standards of quality. Prepares all pantry food items according to standard pantry recipes or, as otherwise specified by supervisor, to ensure consistency of product to the guest; requires transportation of heavy food products. Checks and controls the proper storage of product, especially on all fresh produce, checking on portion control, to maintain quality product.
What Will I Be Doing?
Set up and perform preparation work for food items including, but not limited to, soups, sauces, salads, etc.
Stock and maintain designated food stations(s)
Maintain cleanliness and food sanitation standards at all times
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
