Our Mission is embodied in our school motto: “Transforming girls into young women of faith and vision.” Position Description: Junior Varsity Soccer Head Coach Reports directly to the Regina Athletic Director, the Head Varsity Soccer Coach, and shares the responsibility for all athletes in the Regina Soccer Program. The coach will be required to follow the procedures of the high school’s athletic program, as well as those of the Catholic High School League and the Michigan High School Athletic Association. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in the following: Assists in the full responsibility for the overall supervision and development of the soccer program, especially the sub-varsity team Assists in planning and implementing team activities, tryouts, practices, and summer camps Teaches student-athletes safe and fundamental techniques of the sport throughout the season Maintain sufficient communication with athletes, parents, asst. coaches, and Regina Administration Works in collaboration and cooperation with the Athletic Director recommending the purchase of uniforms, equipment, scheduling and supplies Oversees or helps oversee maintenance, safety and cleanliness of uniforms, equipment, supplies and the facility or area Promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect and good sportsmanship throughout the program Performs other related duties as required Performance Keys: Program culture Athlete and personal development Program competitiveness Strength and conditioning development (year-round) Coach development (staff and self) Operational integrity and supervision Community (internal and external) perception (communication and reputation) Functionality within the mission of Regina High School Qualifications and Requirements: Coaching experience preferred but not required Must have basic understanding of technical aspect of soccer Strong interpersonal and communication skills Must complete Protecting God’s Children through the Archdiocese of Detroit, if not having completed already Must submit to new background check Follow all MHSAA & CHSL coaching requirements, such as CAP courses offered by the MHSAA Salary dependent on qualifications Apply to: Interested applicants should send resume and cover letter:
