We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dedicated team. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Summary:
Provide advanced medical care for patients with psychiatric disorders by diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases and injuries. Prescribe medications for psychiatric-mental health issues and substance use disorders, including treatment with buprenorphine as a DATA 2000 waiver provider. Responsibilities include: Monitor patients’ medication usage and outcomes. Document medical and psychological histories, assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, and outcomes. Diagnose psychiatric and mental health conditions, including substance use disorders. Assess patients’ mental and physical health based on symptoms. Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and treatment plans. Comply with federal opioid treatment standards under DATA 2000. Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, vaccinations, and other medical care. Order and interpret drug abuse testing and other diagnostic tests. Develop and follow comprehensive patient assessment and treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of patient information and prescribed controlled substances. Coordinate with other healthcare providers and community resources. Participate in educational programs and professional development activities. Note:
