Delta Hotels by Marriott Richmond Downtown is seeking a passionate and guest-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily restaurant and banquet event operations. You will be working closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team to ensure the highest levels of service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily F&B shift operation and monitor compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures.

Assist in training and supervision of front-of-house food and beverage staff.

Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

Monitor the staff and ensure all guests are being cared for during their visit.

Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

Support the servers, if necessary, in taking orders, running food, clearing/cleaning tables, and greeting/seating guests.

Understand employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.

Ensure all legal requirements are consistently followed, including state or local laws for food safety and the sale/consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Addresses guest complaints and reports to Food and Beverage Manager.

Monitor the appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities.

Assist with the planning, organizing, and execution of events.

Qualifications

Previous supervisory experience ideally as a Food and Beverage Supervisor

Culinary or cooking experience is a plus

Ability to lead a team, establish service standards and positively influence employee behavior.

Must have Serve Safe Food Handling and TIPS certification, or willing to obtain certification upon hire.

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
