Staffmark is seeking a Receptionist in Monroe, LA to answer incoming calls, gather essential information, and dispatch the appropriate response or route calls to the correct department. Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay: $12/hour
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously
Obtain and accurately record caller information, including name, contact details, and the nature of the inquiry or emergency
Follow established protocols to assess situations and determine the appropriate response or department
Enter call details into the system with high accuracy
Maintain professionalism and composure during high-pressure situations
Provide callers with information or instructions as needed
Collaborate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other departments to ensure effective and timely resolution
Escalate urgent or complex issues when necessary
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or dispatch role (preferred)
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Ability to type quickly and accurately
Proficient with basic computer applications and call management systems
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
