About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Junior Project Manager

to join our team at a respected commercial roofing company, part of a national roofing group. This role is ideal for someone with at least

2 years of experience in commercial roofing project coordination

who is ready to take the next step in their career. You'll support the planning and execution of roofing projects, working closely with senior project managers, field crews, and clients to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing commercial roofing projects from start to finish, including tear-offs, re-roofs, and new installations. Support the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely delivery of roofing materials such as TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and built-up roofing systems. Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Conduct site visits to oversee installation of roofing systems and ensure quality control. Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports. Communicate effectively with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders. Assist in managing warranties, punch lists, and close-out documentation.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum

2 years of experience in commercial roofing project coordination or management . Familiarity with roofing systems including

TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, and metal roofing . Understanding of

roof safety protocols ,

OSHA compliance , and

construction documentation . Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret architectural and roofing plans. Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
