Job Description
The Workplace Education Manager role focuses on consultation and execution to support our Workplace plan sponsor education needs, centered on the delivery of in‑person and virtual meetings. The Education Manager partners directly with plan sponsors, Fidelity relationship management teams, and presenters to deliver detailed execution (coordination of educational meetings and campaigns), drive plan and participant satisfaction, and facilitate positive outcomes.
The Team This role supports the WI Educational Offerings in an effort to build, cultivate, and further develop lifetime relationships with our plan sponsors and participants. The educational strategies we support bridge workplace investing and personal investing to deliver a comprehensive experience addressing the broader spectrum of savings, investing, and retirement needs.
Role Responsibilities
Respond to client requests for investment education and provide additional consultation on client needs.
Use consultative techniques to engage and partner with clients regarding more customized educational treatments across multiple delivery channels.
Propose alternative solutions to balance client needs and objectives with internal business strategies.
Drive client satisfaction through effective execution of client educational requests, responsible for all supporting logistics, while uncovering additional valuable services.
Lead promotional aspects and supporting presentation materials across all events to drive participant engagement goals while handling budgetary considerations.
Identify process improvement opportunities within the operational execution of workplace education strategy and work with appropriate business partners to implement changes.
Participate in additional department initiatives as needed.
The Expertise You Have
BA/BS degree required.
Experience in employee benefits communication and/or financial services preferred.
3–5 years in financial services.
The Skills You Bring
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills supported by specific working experience.
Sound project management and problem‑resolution skills, with the ability to complete and implement projects to completion.
A strong sense of personal responsibility for the quality of work, including accuracy, reliability, and completeness, along with consistent responsiveness.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven, dynamic environment with the ability to make decisions independently.
Ultimately a contributing teammate who thrives in a team‑based environment.
