Responsibilities
Kforce is working directly with the hiring manager of a rapidly growing tech company in Scottsdale, AZ to find a skilled Full Stack Developer. In this role, you will build the future of high-performance payment technology. This position is Hybrid Remote.
Summary: This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape both the backend infrastructure and user-facing components of a cutting-edge payment processing platform. Architect and implement full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, Redux Toolkit, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS
Full Stack Developer will build and maintain backend services and APIs with MongoDB, Prisma, and Java (Spring Boot)
Create responsive, accessible frontend interfaces for seamless payment workflows
Integrate Kafka to support real-time, event-driven architecture
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver smooth user experiences
As a Full Stack Developer, you will ensure systems meet high standards for security, reliability, and performance
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
3+ years of full-stack development experience
Solid backend experience with Node.js, NestJS, MongoDB, Prisma, and Java (Spring Boot)
Experience with Kafka or similar message brokers
Familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance and secure coding practices
Understanding of RESTful API design and asynchronous programming
Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, Redux Toolkit, and TypeScript
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Bonus Skills
Experience in payment processing, banking, or financial services
Experience integrating or migrating legacy systems using Java-based services
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Understanding of distributed systems and data consistency models
Compensation & Benefits The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
