Job Summary:

The Office of Student Financial Aid seeks a federal work study student assistant to assist with daily duties. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while developing essential career readiness skills, including effective communication, collaboration, problem solving, professionalism, and digital literacy.

Responsibilities

Extend excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students and visitors

Provide user assistance in labs

Assist in updating webpages

Prepare and file documents

Complete tasks including typing, copying, faxing, shredding, etc.

Create brochures, flyers, forms, surveys, etc.

Prepare activity reports and similar documents

Prepare and maintain spreadsheets

Run errands on campus

Report time daily

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Demonstrates excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines

Ability to concurrently handle both curricular and extra‑curricular assignments
