Private Equity Fund Accountant – Fund Administration (Hybrid | MO)
Location: Missouri (Hybrid) – relocation assistance available.
Employment: Full-time | Fund Accounting | Private Equity | 1‑8 years of experience required.

Compensation Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr – $115,000.00/yr.
Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus.
What You’ll Do
Prepare or review quarterly fund accounting packages and partner allocations.
Process general ledger activity and investor‑level transactions.
Ensure accuracy of waterfalls, management fees, and financial reporting (US GAAP).
Handle investor documentation, capital calls, and distributions.
Assist with audits and support external auditors.
Maintain daily cash activity, wires, and bank reconciliations.
Manage, mentor, or train junior team members (manager level only).
Review and improve internal processes and systems.
Interpret fund documents (LPAs) and ensure compliance with fund terms.
Interact with/develop strong client relationships, servicing clients.
1–8 years of experience
in fund accounting or audit for
Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Private Credit, or REITs.
Experience with
waterfall models
and management fee calculations (required for manager level).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, etc.).
Experience with
QuickBooks, Investran, AltaReturn, AllVue, or Black Mountain
is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree required;
CPA or other certification
is a plus.
