Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Assistant Corporate Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $175,000 to $210,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities
Lead and develop the corporate accounting team to ensure compliance and effective execution. Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. Support SEC reporting by preparing financial data for 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Proxy Statements. Manage accounting for inventory, fixed assets, cost accounting, and government contract compliance. Coordinate with auditors and government agencies to support reviews and ensure regulatory compliance. Requirements
10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience or 7+ years with public accounting. Apply strong technical knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and FAR/CAS government contract accounting. Communicate effectively across all levels and lead teams in complex organizations. Manage multiple priorities independently with strong problem-solving and research skills. Show proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion Cloud and advanced Excel functions. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. Exhibit experience in SEC reporting and supporting publicly traded company filings. Support M&A transactions including purchase accounting and post-close integration. Understand income tax accounting, equity-based compensation, and foreign currency consolidation. Meet ITAR requirements and demonstrate integrity and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
