Position Health, Safety, & Environmental Coordinator
We are looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator based out of our
Odessa, TX
office - who will be responsible for safety within the Permian Basin and the Rockies. This position's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in administering the company safety policies, planning and delivering monthly safety meetings, assuring Eagle's driving and field compliance with customer and Eagle safety guidelines and programs, and responsibility helping to identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions and create a culture that prioritizes HSE policies.

Health, Safety, & Environmental Coordinator Job Duties
Manage HSE programs for multiple offices (regional) and assure compliance with customer, Eagle Automation and regulatory safety requirements.
Review, combine, and update HSE procedures, practices and policies.
Ensure mandatory training requirements for employees are consistently met, develop customization and implementation planning and conduct monthly safety meetings across company locations.
Perform HSE audits and site inspections relative to the company's needs. This position is expected to spend more than 60% of time at field operations locations.
Support 3rd party databases to include but not limited ISNetworld, PEC, RIG UP and NCMS. Applicants with experience with any or all of these will be given preference.
Generate quarterly, semi-annual and annual OSHA 300 Logs.
Directs the resources and activities of the company to support the HSE programs Eagle has in place.
Document, communicate and notify appropriate supervisors and management of safety accidents and incidents
Implement corrective actions as it relates to the incident and ensure "lessons learned" are communicated throughout the Company and are incorporated into the program, if necessary
Applicant is able to deliver safety training programs to new hires.
Direct assistance with and oversight of On-Boarding, Training, and Fleet Management
Experience
A bachelor's degree (4 year) or higher or equivalent in Safety, Engineering, or related technical field *preferred
Must possess OSHA & HAZWOPER certifications, OSHA 30hr certification minimum
7+ years of relevant oil and gas energy industry related experience, 3 years Oil & Gas Safety professional work history minimum
Instructional Systems Design certification a plus
Knowledge of oil and gas industry practices, regulatory agency requirements and industry standards.
Must have very good written and oral communications. Required to speak effectively before groups of Senior Management, clients, subcontractors, and/or employees of the organization.
Implementing HSE tools, processes, and systems
Excellent computer skills required. Must have experience with Microsoft Office Programs
Use of basic reasoning, thinking "on your feet", and ability to resolve issues quickly with little or no direction from a superior.
Human Resource experience a plus
Certified Instructor/Trainer
Proficiency at reporting to ISNetworld, DISA, NCMS, RIG-UP preferred
* Equipment background a plus
* Basic investigative techniques a plus
Company truck, fuel, FR clothing, laptop, etc. provided
M-F, 7-4/8-5, mix of field and office
Subject to call outs at night or weekend as needed
Handles daily needs of Safety, Training, On-Boarding, Trucks & Tools, and online reporting
Delivers monthly safety meetings; audits techs in field monthly
