S erve as the primary technical accounting senior accountant and resource to the Corporate Accounting, Fixed Asset , Lease Accounting, Brand Accounting , and FP&A teams. Provide timely and accurate financial statements and other key financial documents to internal (e.g. Executive Management) and external users (Franchisees, Investors and Lenders). This position sits within our Atlanta based GlobalSupport Center with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time. RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain company accounting policies and procedures within the entire accounting organization. Assist with accounting research, documentation, and implementation of new or enhanced accounting policies and subsequently monitor adherence to such policies. Assist all teams within the accounting organization to ensure the accounting treatment of all complex transactions and new contracts is appropriate. Assist purchase accounting for all business combinations under ASC 805, including restaurant and concept acquisitions and any related integration efforts (process and systems). Perform ASC 350, ASC 360, and ASC 323 impairment testing process for all tangible and intangible assets. This includes goodwill, intangibles, joint ventures, and assets held within Inspire company restaurants. Develop and maintain relationships with all teams in the accounting and finance organization to enhance internal and external reporting, including assisting with complex and non-routine transactions as they occur. Monitor compliance with internal controls and policies related to the technical accounting and financial reporting team. Collaborate with the internal audit team in the development of appropriate internal controls that will comply with Sarbanes‑Oxley and support the internal audit team during testing of those controls. Prepare quarterly and annual external financial statements. This includes consolidated financial statements, stand‑alone brand reporting for franchisee disclosure documents, and other reporting to comply with bank requirements. Prepare cash flow statements, income statements, balance sheets and equity roll forwards for inclusion in quarterly and annual financial reports. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

4‑Year Degree or Master’s degree in accounting Certified Public Accountant preferred Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred, including Big 4 audit experience and/or progressive technical accounting experience in public or private industry. Experience in performing advanced technical accounting research and analysis, and documentation of alternatives and conclusions. Strong understanding of GAAP concepts and the ability to communicate those concepts to other stakeholders in the Company. Experience working as part of and contributing to a larger team, previous supervisory experience preferred. Understanding of public company reporting and filing requirements. Strong working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Strong written communication skills. Strong technical GAAP research skills. Knowledge and experience of current SEC rules and regulations. Aptitude for learning new systems. Ability to work independently and meet multiple, concurrent and aggressive deadlines. Positive attitude with the willingness to accept flexibility in assignments and the desire to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to excel. Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Knowledge and understanding of Oracle financial systems. Knowledge and understanding of Hyperion/FCCS reporting. DIRECT REPORTS
