About the Role As a Key Account Specialist, you will influence decision makers and influencers within your assigned customer base to support the use of our products in treating multiple dermatology disease states. Your responsibilities include executing marketing strategies, achieving sales goals, developing long‑term relationships with key decision makers, and championing collaboration across the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Influence decision makers by developing and delivering targeted sales messages based on accurate clinical information.
Execute local marketing strategies, leveraging resources and collaborating with company team members to enhance business results and customer loyalty.
Achieve sales goals for Immunology Dermatology & Psoriatic business, delivering market share and growth within the assigned geography.
Sell promoted products in target dermatology and psoriatic institutions, establishing mutually beneficial, long‑term business relationships with healthcare providers.
Drive product access, acceptance, and usage in targeted academic accounts, ensuring ease of access and fulfillment for IV and subcutaneous products.
Create, implement, and evaluate strategies to develop Fellows, Residents, and Key Opinion Leaders within assigned institutions.
Develop and evaluate effective business plans for each assigned institution (e.g., Market Acceleration Plans).
Champion collaboration across the marketplace, both internally and externally.
Maintain administrative functions such as call reporting, safe driving, expense accounting, and written and oral communications, and represent the company at scientific conventions and educational programs.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of two (2) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience, with at least one (1) year of specialty sales experience.
A valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
Willingness to travel, including weekend and/or overnight travel.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of large account management.
Working knowledge of treatment and patient journey through a health system.
Working knowledge of immunology, dermatology, rheumatology, and/or gastroenterology.
Prior experience managing complex fulfillment issues.
Experience in project‑oriented selling within a high‑incentive, individual performance culture, with documented successful sales performance (high growth, results vs. plan).
