Assistant Professor of Instruction – Integrative Biology (Finance) College of Arts and Sciences, University of South Florida

Position: Full‑time, non‑tenure earning teaching faculty (Assistant Professor of Instruction) in Integrative Biology.

Appointment Details 9‑month appointment beginning August 7, 2026. Voting member of the IB department, supervise undergraduate research, progress through USF’s Professor of Instruction promotional path.

Salary: $60,000.

Responsibilities Teach 3 courses per semester, including Human Anatomy & Physiology, Animal Science, Introduction to Animal Anatomy, or General Physiology. May develop upper‑level course in specialty. Supplemental summer appointments may be available.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Biology or related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent qualifications that meet national and/or regional accreditation standards at the time of appointment.

AD B acceptable, but degree must be conferred by appointment start date.

Preferred Qualifications

Evidence‑based teaching practices.

Experience teaching Biomedical, Evolutionary Medicine, Human Anatomy & Physiology or similar courses.

Experience teaching large enrollment courses.
