About the Opportunity: Northwest Talent Solutions LLC (NWTS) is recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing leader seeking an experienced
EHS Manager
to champion environmental, health, and safety excellence within a high-impact production facility.
This role is ideal for a results-driven professional passionate about leading teams toward
zero incidents , regulatory excellence, and continuous improvement in safety culture. You'll play a key role in environmental compliance, risk reduction, and employee well-being driving tangible outcomes across a growing energy-technology enterprise.
What You'll Do:
Develop, implement, and oversee
EHS programs
to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state regulations.
Lead training, auditing, and risk-assessment initiatives to create a culture of
safety ownership and accountability .
Manage hazardous waste programs, environmental reporting, and recycling initiatives.
Conduct investigations, identify root causes, and design preventive actions for incidents or near-misses.
Collaborate cross-functionally to champion ergonomics, sustainability, and process improvements aligned with Lean and 6S principles.
Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, permits, and compliance reporting.
Serve as a mentor and safety leader for all facility personnel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety, or related field.
5+ years
of progressive EHS experience, preferably in
industrial or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental and safety standards.
Proven track record managing hazardous waste, ergonomics, and risk-reduction programs.
Preferred:
Professional certifications such as CHMM, CSP, CIH, or PE.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and training facilitation skills.
