Commercial Litigation Associate – Las Vegas, NV (Onsite)

Direct Counsel is representing an AMLaw 100 firm seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its Las Vegas office as part of a nationally ranked Business Litigation Practice. This is a full-time, onsite position offering the opportunity to handle sophisticated disputes for clients across a variety of industries including gaming, entertainment, financial services, real estate, insurance, and construction.

About the Role This position is ideal for a motivated associate with commercial litigation experience who’s ready to contribute to complex legal matters, take ownership of significant responsibilities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across a national platform.

Key Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of business and commercial litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, taking/defending depositions, and preparing for hearings or trial.

Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.

Conduct legal research, write persuasive briefs and motions, and engage in client communication.

Work closely with partners and clients from a variety of sectors.

Participate in professional and community organizations to enhance client engagement and visibility.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably in a large law firm setting.

Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and project management skills.

Excellent academic credentials.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Must be admitted to the Nevada Bar.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $225,000 – $250,000 / year, commensurate with experience. Eligibility for annual discretionary bonus.
