Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving:

Receive incoming materials and products, verify accuracy of shipments against packing lists or bills of lading. Prepare outgoing shipments ensuring items are properly packed, labeled, and documented for transportation. Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations. Perform regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy. Material Handling:

Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss. Quality Assurance:

Inspect incoming and outgoing materials and products for quality and quantity discrepancies. Report any issues to supervisors and assist in resolving quality concerns. Documentation:

Complete required paperwork and electronic documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies and procedures. Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to material handling and shipping activities.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a material handler, shipping/receiving clerk, or similar role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; valid certification preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately complete paperwork and maintain inventory records. Basic computer skills to use inventory management software and MS Office programs. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in a warehouse environment that may involve varying temperatures and conditions.
