As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as they arise, and engage with the public to provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Carry out security-related procedures and protocols in accordance with site-specific policies for government locations. Assist clients, staff, and visitors by providing customer service while conducting patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual circumstances. Respond to incidents and emergency situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate. Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management. Support emergency response activities when needed, following established protocols for armed patrol posts. Document observations and incidents clearly and accurately for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required by site directives. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid and current Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification. Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License. Provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma as required by the client. Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license; this is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
