Human Resources Generalist

We’re seeking a proactive, people‑focused HR Generalist to help drive meaningful HR initiatives that support employee engagement, development, and organizational compliance.
Summary
The Human Resource Generalist will support routine HR functions, including employee retention and relations, training and development, administering benefits and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Location
South Dallas – near Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane.

Compensation
Commensurate based on experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with the CHRO and Director of HR to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy.
- Provide support and guidance to management and staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive HR matters.
- Advise employees on benefits and eligibility.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recommend best practices.
- Stay current on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
- Assist with FMLA, employee leave, and benefit paperwork.
- Collaborate with corporate recruiters and managers to define skills and competencies for openings.
- Administer learning and development programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, especially in Texas, California, Illinois, Florida, and New York.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
- Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/talent management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Education & Experience
- 3+ years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Detailed knowledge of Texas employment laws and regulations in California, Illinois, Florida, and/or New York.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- HR certification (SHRM‑CP or PHR) preferred.
Work Environment
The role requires extended periods of sitting, computer use, and phone handling (approx. 8–12 hrs/day). Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Reasonable accommodations available.
