Apparel Production Assistant
An apparel design company is seeking a Production Assistant to join our growing team. This role supports the full production cycle — from purchase order management to tracking timelines and samples — ensuring the smooth execution of new and replenishment styles.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional with strong data entry and Excel skills who’s excited to learn the ins and outs of fashion production in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and issue factory purchase orders for new and replenishment styles, ensuring all quantities, delivery dates, and pricing details are accurate.
- Participate in new style reviews to confirm packaging and labeling requirements.
- Set up styles and maintain data in the ERP system (Blue Cherry or similar).
- Track and update production timelines (T&A) and prepare regular status reports for management.
- Maintain bulk order and forecast charts, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
- Manage Quick Response (QR) orders and communicate with overseas teams.
- Review and log Top of Production (TOP) samples and identify any packaging discrepancies.
- Support special sample requests for marketing or events.
- Provide administrative assistance for material testing, customs documentation, and hangtag approvals.
- Act as a backup for team members as needed on data entry and production support tasks.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in apparel production or data entry (internship experience counts).
- Strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as BlueCherry is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Production Management, Business, or a related field.
