Now Hiring: Maintenance Specialist
Staffmark is seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist to support equipment and facility maintenance at a leading manufacturing facility in Portland, IN.
Pay:
$33-$38/hour
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shift
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and electrical systems (AC/DC, 480/240/120V).
Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools.
Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and preventive maintenance.
Maintain molding machines, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and support systems.
Respond to emergency maintenance needs and assist with continuous improvement projects.
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
Communicate repair needs and status with supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or Associate's degree preferred.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (plastics or molding preferred).
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Forklift operation experience preferred.
Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed.
