The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is recruiting a full‑time physician for the Division of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Division seeks an experienced, forward‑thinking physician who is passionate about advancing women’s health and committed to an academic career.

Responsibilities

Provide direct clinical care, including obstetric and gynecologic services, in a comprehensive clinical setting.

Perform major and minor gynecologic surgeries and manage medically complex patients.

Teach medical students, residents, and fellows; contribute to curricular development and didactic sessions.

Participate in hospital and department committees, rounds, and postgraduate courses.

Engage in scholarly activities such as research, quality initiatives, and evidence‑based practice.

Share responsibility for rotating night and weekend call.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Florida medical license eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

Terminal doctoral degree (MD or DO); additional degrees such as MBA, MPH encouraged.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusive educational practice.

Experience in program development and collaborative service improvement.

Salary Expected Salary:

$303,943.00 (negotiable; commensurate with education and experience)
