Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvement, cost reduction, and innovation in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes for metal stamping, fabrication, and machining.
  • Support new product launches with process flow, routings, and setup documentation.
  • Prepare cost estimates and quotations from blueprints, CAD models, and specifications.
  • Determine tooling, cycle times, and labor costs to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive quotes and process improvements.
  • Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Conduct time studies and capacity analyses to identify bottlenecks.
  • Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Provide technical support for production and quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Experience in metal stamping, metal fabrication, or precision machining required
  • Experience preparing cost estimates or quotes for manufactured parts.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling design, process flow, and machine setup.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD; MasterCAM a plus).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (JobBOSS preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement methods.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance shop floor involvement with technical and cost analysis.
