Senior Electrical Engineer
Summary : The engineering teams will be based in Tulsa, OK and Houston, TX, even though the project sites may be elsewhere. Technologies involved include:
Natural gas turbines
Reciprocating engines
Battery energy storage
Distributed control systems
Job Description As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead the design and optimization of electrical systems that power essential infrastructure—pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. You’ll apply your technical expertise to integrate advanced technologies like automation, real‑time monitoring, and energy storage, driving efficiency and innovation across operations. A key part of your role is ensuring safety through the implementation of arc flash mitigation, fault detection systems, and rigorous compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. You’ll also manage complex projects from concept to completion, aligning engineering solutions with business goals and timelines. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and eight (8) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry (Required)
PE License (Preferred)
Master’s degree in electrical engineering (Preferred)
Requirements
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Proficiency in reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements
Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)
Preferred: Experience with PLCs
