Senior Electrical Engineer
to join the core team in
Tulsa, OK .

Tulsa, OK, USA
Type:
Direct Hire (Fulltime) | Onsite
Salary:
USD $125,000 – $160,000 / year
Work Schedule:
Regular Hours (Monday to Friday)
Core Timezone:
Central Time (CST)
Visa Requirement:
U.S. Citizen (USC) or Green Card Holder (GC)
The Project You will be instrumental in the engineering teams based in Tulsa and Houston, focusing on power solutions for both new construction and upgrades to existing critical facilities, including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage sites.
The role involves hands-on system integration and optimization across diverse technologies:
On-site Power Generation:
Natural gas turbines and Reciprocating engines.
Energy Management:
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Controls:
Design and integration of Distributed Control Systems.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
Design Leadership:
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of robust electrical systems and power distribution networks for critical energy infrastructure and data centers.
Technology Integration:
Champion the integration of advanced technologies, including
automation ,
real-time monitoring , and
energy storage , to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs.
Safety & Compliance:
Implement and enforce rigorous safety measures, including the review of
arc flash studies
and the deployment of fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability.
Technical Expertise:
Provide expert technical guidance on power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts, ensuring compliance with relevant codes ( NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE ).
Project Management:
Manage complex engineering projects from concept to completion, aligning technical solutions with defined business goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
Mentorship:
Mentor and support the development of junior engineers, fostering technical growth, knowledge sharing, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications Education & Experience (Required):
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in
Electrical Engineering .
Experience:
Eight (8) or more years of professional engineering experience in natural gas,
data centers , or related heavy industrial infrastructure.
Technical & Professional Requirements:
Proficiency in reviewing arc flash studies and implementing effective safety improvements.
Expert working knowledge of key electrical design codes and standards (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.).
Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and maintains safety as a main priority in all work.
Highly Desired (Preferred):
Possession of a
Professional Engineer (PE) License .
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with
PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems .
Experience working across Preliminary-Front End Engineering Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) projects.
Familiarity with modeling tools like
MATLAB
or
Simulink .
