Maintenance Mechanic I Location:

Cleveland, MS

Shift:

3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am

Base Pay Range:

$81,300.00/yr - $121,500.00/yr

Position Summary: Responsible for providing technical installation and commissioning support to clients and service teams nationally with regards to smart motor equipment and application support, requiring up to 75% of time for outside and onsite work.

Essential Responsibilities

Provide technical installation and commissioning support to clients and service teams nationally with regards to smart motor equipment and application support.

Complete rotating equipment alignment to nominated tolerances using dial indicators or laser equipment.

Provide on-site start‑up services and troubleshooting to customers within the United States and document all procedures, recommendations and reports.

Demonstrate an ability to fault‑find and self‑manage to avoid unnecessary breakage or lost time through incorrect installation techniques.

Troubleshoot smart motor and associated equipment.

Assist with assembly of smart motors and associated equipment, including manufacturing, fabricating, and repairing modifications associated with smart motor equipment.

Demonstrate understanding of motor KPV trends.

Follow written instructions and complete all nominated checkpoints before handing over paperwork.

Provide timely advice to the Operations Manager of field‑service tooling and consumables stock deficiencies to allow replacement.

Maintain tools and equipment in operating condition and advise supervisor of deficiencies.

Contribute to a positive safety culture throughout the business by following safety processes, policies and legislation, and supporting new initiatives.

Follow and set a positive example for all ITT Code of Conduct rules and guidelines and ensure commitment to ITT’s vision, mission and values, acting in accordance with the Working with One Another program.

Adhere to all company rules, processes, policies and requirements.

Position Requirements

Electrical Engineering Diploma or higher (desirable).

Trade certificate in Electrical or Electronics (desirable).

Restricted Electrical License or 4+ years of experience (desirable).

Advanced electrical troubleshooting capability.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams.

Experience with process and motor control methodologies.

Minimum 4 years of practical experience and knowledge with various motor types.

Preventative Maintenance & Reliability experience (desirable).

Strong verbal and written English language skills.

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Understanding and implementation of quality principles.

Engagement in modern safety principles.

Professional appearance and approach.

Availability to travel to support planned business growth.
