The Oncology Exercise Physiologist will be the foundation of the Miami Cancer Institute exercise physiology program for cancer patients and survivors. This includes individual exercise consults, group education classes, pre and post fitness assessments, and supervised training sessions. The role collaborates with medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists as well as all multidisciplinary team members of the Cancer Institute to assist patients with assessments, education, and training to achieve a healthier lifestyle and aid in prevention of cancer or other chronic disease recurrence. This position will spearhead the new program for the Miami Cancer Institute and collaborate with the already robust BHSF Rehab Department. Strong knowledge of exercise within an oncology setting and experience working with patients and physicians is preferred. Estimated pay range is $22.20 - $28.86 per hour depending on experience.
