Tricorp Group, Inc.
Tricorp Group is seeking an estimator with at least 2+ years of construction experience. Estimators will work primarily on negotiated commercial projects and work closely with architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors. Responsibilities for this position and required skills include:
Assist in preparing detailed quantity takeoffs for all trades Help gather and review subcontractor and vendor pricing Organize and maintain bid documents, drawings, and specifications Support the creation of budgets, proposals, and bid packages Learn to analyze scopes of work and identify gaps or overlaps Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks with senior team members Track historical cost data and maintain estimating databases Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff after award Handle the project from first estimate through generation of subcontract scope Ability to prepare detailed estimates and as the design evolves, develop variance summaries between estimates and value engineering studies throughout. Ability to assemble a complete presentation-worthy estimate package that clearly communicates project cost. Ability to collaborate with project team to establish the necessary staffing and project requirements. Ability to prepare detailed instructions to bidders, trade specific clarifications and comprehensive bid packages.

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF software (BluBeam or similar), 2+ years of construction estimating experience Bachelors degree a plus but not required. A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude. This job is salaried.
