Electrical Senior Project Manager (Underground Utilities)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with strong electrical experience in underground utility construction. This role will lead complex projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to client and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of underground electrical utility projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
Manage field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Coordinate with clients, engineers, and municipalities to ensure compliance and resolve issues.
Review and approve project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Mentor junior project managers and field staff.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in electrical construction, with a focus on underground utilities.
Proven track record managing multi-million dollar projects.
Strong understanding of NEC, local codes, and utility coordination.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
