Job Summary
Full-time tenure-track position, including teaching, scholarship, student advising, and committee service
Responsibilities
Teach beginning and advanced levels of marketing primarily face-to-face in the traditional undergraduate program on our Arden Hills campus
Teach courses such as Principles of Marketing, Global Marketing, Brand Management and a capstone marketing course
Engage in advising and mentoring students
Participate in department and university committee service
Demonstrate ongoing scholarly and professional development
Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance diversity and inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline
Live out a commitment to the liberal arts educational mission and Christian orientation of the University
Skills
Ability to teach a range of Marketing courses that reflect specialty interests of the candidate and needs of the department
Ability to engage and mentor students
Demonstrated understanding of the marketing profession and ability to guide students toward meaningful career advancement
Commitment to drawing connections between business / marketing and Christian faith
Ability to contribute to Bethel’s pursuit of inclusive excellence, and desire to become more culturally competent
Experience At least five years of relevant marketing and / or sales experience preferred.
Education Required :
Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in marketing.
Preferred :
Ph.D. in Marketing or DBA.
Additional Information Compensation :
Salary and rank commensurate with skills, education and experience
