Covey Planning + Landscape Architecture is seeking a highly motivated individual to function as a Mid-Level Urban Planner. (Planner II)
Key Responsibilities: We are looking for a driven individual with an appetite to develop and expand their skills and expertise in all aspects of Urban Planning and Design. Individual duties include, but are not limited to: Involvement with internal design charettes and facilitating design solutions. Contributing and running complex design packages. Ability to present design and technical solutions with client and stakeholders. Develop a strong client base with personal, social interactions.
Required Qualifications: Two to five years of experience. Bachelor's degree or higher in urban planning or other related degree from an accredited program. Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam and ArcGIS. Highly collaborative individual working within a team and individually. Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Solid organizational and time management skills. Independent and critical thinking skills. Experience with Lumion and Sketchup.
Job Type: Full-time, in person
Pay: Competitive salaries, commensurate based on experience and qualifications.
