What You Will Do

Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows environment.

Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment, using troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including integration of hardware and operating systems.

Collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.

Monitor the trouble ticket system, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Ensure systems remain operational 24x7 and occasionally require work beyond standard hours.

Qualifications You Must Have

University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

Active, transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date.

CompTIA Security+ or other industry‑recognised certification relevant to a Windows System Administrator, or ability to acquire within six months of hiring.

Experience with Windows architecture, deployment, administration, networking, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.

Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Experience with application installation and multi‑server environment deployment.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with managing Microsoft WSUS, Exchange, and Skype.

Experience with security infrastructure products such as Symantec, Splunk, Tenable Nessus.

Experience with databases (MSSQL, MariaDB).

Experience with backup software (BackupExec).

Scripting experience (PowerShell, Ansible).

Experience with IT project lifecycle management processes.

Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, ESX and other virtual computing methods.

Experience with NetApp, SolarWinds, Chocolatey, and PDQ.

Experience with Windows Server internals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.

Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 – $182,000 USD.
