Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, with up to 25% travel to field or manufacturing sites.
Summary The Fleet and Reliability Engineer supports modification and repair projects for mechanical systems, focusing on improving performance, reliability, and compliance. This includes analyzing failure trends, conducting design reviews, and developing solutions to extend equipment life.
Key Responsibilities
Create and revise mechanical drawings and layouts using CAD.
Define scopes of work for modifications and repairs.
Conduct stress analysis and technical calculations.
Review designs for accuracy and compliance with standards.
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and reliability risks.
Develop test plans and reliability reports.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to validate components and solutions.
Support onboarding and training of technical team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3+ years of relevant experience
Proficient in CAD design and technical documentation
