Specialty Coating and Laminating, LLC manufactures poly-extrusion and aqueous-coated paper and paperboard products, to include roll wrap protection, heat sealable liners, slip and tier sheets, and composite can components.

WHAT WE DO Extrusion Coating Aqueous Coating Solid Fiber Laminations Building and Construction Materials: house wrap, roof underlayment, sheathing, flashing, and adhesives

COVERAGE LOCATION Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine.

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking to add an experienced Sales Account Manager who will be responsible for seeking new business opportunities that result in increased outside sales revenue. This individual will articulate the value of our extruded and laminated products in a solution‑based manner, becoming a true and trusted partner of the customer throughout the full sales cycle. This position consists of making high‑volume cold calls daily, communicating effectively with prospective clients, building a pipeline, and managing successful client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Prospect and convert qualified leads from INDEVCO North American Marketing Team.

Input activity, leads, contacts and opportunities into the CRM system.

Forecast, report and profile competitors.

Proactively search, identify and obtain business opportunities with new and existing customers, managing resources as required.

Cold‑call potential customers for industrial packaging, consumer packaging for poly‑coated, laminated products and aqueous laminated and coated sheeted products.

Visit B2B manufacturing operations to provide current product offerings and market‑specific value‑added solutions.

SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT

Work with R&D and Management teams to design customer‑based solutions within our product portfolio.

Utilize market and customer research to build product value propositions specific to the customer and industry.

Share with the SC&L team market knowledge and expertise of market segments, geographical requirements and product developments.

Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.

Understand, assess and communicate the technical attributes required of the customer, and the company’s ability to meet them.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

Complete the sales cycle with full customer satisfaction.

Identify, address, monitor and resolve complaints with current customers regarding product, quality, and service improvement.

Utilize market and customer research to build product value propositions specific to the customer and industry.

Collaborate with cross‑functional internal teams (including Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations) to improve the entire customer experience.

Perform additional work that furthers outside sales efforts, including follow‑up communication via telephone, written materials and email; planning and preparing for outside sales calls using sales tools and databases; consistently using the CRM system to forecast territory bookings, prepare proposals and provide tours of manufacturing plant and facilities.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

5+ years sales experience, or 2+ years of specific sales experience in laminated and coated Industrial/Consumer Packaging.

Familiarity with folding carton, industrial packaging, steel and roll packaging for coated and laminated products.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

BS or BA in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing.

OTHER DETAILS

At least 70% travel required.

Valid driver’s license required.
