PROJECT COORDINATOR (HOMELESS)

$73,140.00 per year

Eligibility:
Current City employees in bargaining units 1, 3, 4 & 5 (AFSCME) are eligible to bid.

Responsibilities
Coordinate with policy makers, community stakeholders, service providers, and DFSS programs to improve the homeless response system.
Manage contracts, review program outcomes, provide technical assistance, and coordinate city‑funded resources at the system level.
Draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluate applicants, review contracts, analyze budgets, and monitor expenditures for delegate agencies.
Prepare and update summary reports for the Homeless Services Division leadership team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with delegate agencies and act as a liaison with City departments and external agencies to secure commitments.
Conduct data‑driven performance improvement initiatives and develop marketing strategies to increase program participation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration, Social Sciences, Planning, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in program administration, social service program coordination, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous project management experience.
Experience in the human or homeless services sector.
Experience reviewing or working with program data.
Experience providing training, technical assistance, or onboarding of new staff.

Shift:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
