Director of Research
We’re hiring a Director of Research to lead the Servicing Cross-Platform Research team. You’ll manage a small team to drive impactful market and user research, and deliver insights that shape our servicing experiences and business strategy. This high‑impact role partners with senior stakeholders, champions the voice of the customer, and influences strategy through actionable research and recommendations.
In this role, you will lead a team of two researchers spanning both market research and user research. You’ll spend the majority of your time planning and executing complex research and partnering with stakeholders as a thought leader in guiding strategic decisions. In addition, you will be responsible for prioritizing work, guiding the growth and development of your team, and driving cross‑platform strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Servicing Cross‑Platform Research team, managing stakeholders and prioritizing work using U.S. Retail Markets business priorities.
Spearhead custom and highly complex research initiatives to inform our servicing strategy, directly impacting user experiences and business outcomes.
Champion our end‑users by integrating insights from primary, secondary research, industry news, and operational data.
Forge high‑trust partnerships across multiple teams and departments, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Establish yourself as an organizational expert, training others in research methodologies and educating stakeholders on best practices.
Lead high‑visibility research projects with Servicing, Analytics, Product Solutions, UX Design, and other key stakeholders.
Provide clear, actionable recommendations to business partners, translating research into compelling narratives.
Communicate findings to senior and executive‑level stakeholders with clarity and impact.
Promote diversity of perspective and collaboration to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications
12+ years of market research experience in a corporate, agile setting (or 8+ years with a master’s degree).
Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods: surveys, segmentation, competitive benchmarking, focus groups, in‑depth interviews.
Exceptional communication skills, translating data into actionable insights verbally and in writing.
Data‑driven storytelling, transforming raw data into compelling narratives and visualizations.
Experience with Qualtrics, UserZoom, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and statistical programs such as SAS, SPSS, R, MarketSight, Displayr.
Strong organizational, analytical, critical‑thinking, and team‑building abilities.
Proven track record of effective cross‑functional collaboration.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with industry techniques.
