Training: 7 weeks, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST
Post-Training: 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM PST
Job Description:
As a Member Services Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for SCAN Health members, providing support and guidance regarding their health plan benefits. Your role is to ensure member satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service and resolving inquiries related to eligibility, referrals, claims, and other plan services. This remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in members' healthcare experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for members with questions about their health plan benefits.
Provide accurate and timely information regarding eligibility, referrals, claims, and coverage details.
Advocate for members by resolving issues and ensuring a positive experience.
Maintain a professional, empathetic, and helpful demeanor in all interactions.
Document member interactions and follow up as needed to ensure resolution.
Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment.
Bilingual proficiency in
Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Vietnamese
is strongly preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a reliable WiFi connection and home-office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the health plan or healthcare industry.
Familiarity with health insurance terminology and processes.
