Sales Agronomist

Pro-Ag Farmers Cooperative is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Agronomist to join our team in Minnesota. As a Sales Agronomist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling chemical, pesticide, and fertilizer products to farmers and agricultural producers in the region. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide them with recommendations on the best products for their specific crops and soil conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the agricultural industry
Identify and prospect new customers to grow sales in the territory
Provide technical advice and support to customers on crop management practices
Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales strategies and marketing campaigns
Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Previous experience in sales or agronomy preferred
Knowledge of crop management practices, soil science, and agronomic principles
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary Competitive salary 68,000-80,000 depending on experience and benefits package offered, including bonus opportunities for achieving sales targets.
