Role:
We’re looking for a creative and self-motivated
Marketing & Social Media Coordinator
to help elevate InkWell’s digital presence and engage readers, authors, and supporters online. This volunteer role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, social impact, and community engagement. What You’ll Do: Develop and manage InkWell’s social media calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok). Create engaging posts, stories, and campaigns that highlight authors, books, and community initiatives. Collaborate with the team on digital marketing strategies for events, book launches, and fundraising campaigns. Monitor engagement metrics and suggest creative ways to increase reach and audience interaction. Support email marketing, newsletters, and website updates as needed. Our Ideal Volunteer: Passionate about books, literacy, and social impact. Skilled in social media content creation and scheduling tools (e.g., Canva, etc.). Strong writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills. Organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines independently. Experience in marketing, communications, or graphic design (preferred but not required). What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing and publishing.
