Contract We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team, focusing on driving innovative automation initiatives for a leading healthcare enterprise. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with the chance to work in a dynamic environment. We are looking for candidates who can start onsite in Pleasanton, CA from Day 1. Key Responsibilities: Lead and implement automation strategies for API and UI testing using Selenium, Java, Rest Assured, and JMeter. Design and maintain robust automation frameworks with a focus on scalability and efficiency. Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, including onsite and offshore resources. Oversee device integration and embedded system testing. Collaborate in functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and formal verification, especially for Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products. Handle CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot build failures, and ensure smooth test automation processes. Mandatory Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in API & UI automation. 5+ years of experience with TestNG or Playwright frameworks. 5+ years of experience as an Automation Architect. Strong hands-on programming skills in Java (10+ years). 3+ years of experience working with iOS and Visual Studio. Proficient in using Git, including submodules. Cloud experience with Azure or AWS. Familiarity with JIRA for test management and tracking. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare or medical device domains. Exposure to CI/CD tools and frameworks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Meticulous attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
