CMM Programmer/Operator
to join our advanced manufacturing team in
Indianapolis, IN . In this hands-on role, you’ll program and operate
Zeiss CMMs using Calypso , inspecting tight-tolerance aerospace and automotive components. If you're passionate about metrology, thrive in a detail-driven environment, and want to work with cutting-edge equipment — we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities
Program and operate
Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines
(CMM) using
Calypso software Perform
in-process and final inspections
of machined components with tolerances down to 0.0001" Verify machine and probe calibration for measurement accuracy Identify defects, generate
non-conformance reports , and document results per AS9100/ISO9001 Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to uphold the highest inspection standards Create and maintain inspection documentation and clear reporting using Microsoft Office tools Recommend process improvements based on inspection trends Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a
CMM programmer/operator , preferably in aerospace or automotive Expertise with
Zeiss CMM equipment and Calypso programming Strong understanding of
GD&T , blueprint reading, and tight-tolerance measurement techniques Skilled in use of micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools Familiar with AS9100, ISO9001, or similar quality management systems Comfortable working independently and collaborating in a fast-paced, R&D-focused shop environment Why Join Aerodyn?
